What to Expect When You Schedule Service with Live Free Mobile RV

This page is provided to help customers understand how service with Live Free Mobile RV works, what to expect before and during an appointment, and how common situations are handled.

This page is for general information only. All services are governed by the Live Free Mobile RV Terms of Service, which control in the event of any conflict.

Our Service Model

Live Free Mobile RV is a mobile, on-site RV repair and solar service. We travel to your RV and perform work at your location. There is no fixed shop or drop-off facility.

Our focus is on RV house systems, including electrical, solar, batteries, plumbing, climate systems, roof sealing, and related components. We do not perform engine, drivetrain, towing, or vehicle recovery services.

Scheduling & Arrival Windows

Appointments are scheduled in advance and include an estimated arrival window. Because we are mobile and prior service conditions vary, arrival times may shift.

If an emergency service request is accepted, previously scheduled appointments may need to be adjusted.

Emergency Service Requests

Some service situations require immediate or priority response due to loss of essential RV systems.

Emergency service may involve:

  • Same-day service

  • After-hours service

  • Weekend or holiday service

  • Priority scheduling ahead of existing appointments

Emergency services require additional fees and advance payment before dispatch. Priority response does not guarantee immediate or full resolution in a single visit.

For full definitions and conditions, refer to the Terms of Service.

Travel & Trip Surcharges

We are a fully mobile service and come directly to your RV.
Travel within 25 miles one-way of our current service location is included.

For service locations beyond that range, we apply an Extended Service Trip Surcharge based on distance. This surcharge reflects travel time, vehicle operating costs, and scheduling availability and is always disclosed before service is confirmed.

Site Readiness & Access

To work safely and efficiently, your RV must be:

  • Parked in a location with reasonable access

  • Free of hazards that could affect technician safety

  • Accessible for exterior and interior work

In addition, the service location must have the relevant utilities available to restore and verify proper operation of RV systems, including:

  • Electrical power

  • Potable water

  • Sewer connection (when applicable)

Customers must also provide the normal accessories required to connect the RV to those utilities, such as power cords, adapters, water hoses, pressure regulators, sewer hoses, and fittings.

If required utilities or connection accessories are unavailable, full system restoration, testing, or verification may not be possible. In such cases, the service visit will still be billable, and follow-up service may be required.

If a site is unsafe, inaccessible, or lacks required utilities or accessories, a service call fee may still apply.

Estimates & Service Changes

Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection. RV systems can conceal issues that are not visible until work begins.

If additional issues are discovered, work will pause and options will be discussed before proceeding.

Payment Expectations

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Some services, including emergency calls and special-order parts, require advance payment or deposits before work begins.

Warranty & Workmanship (Important)

Live Free Mobile RV stands behind its workmanship, but mobile RV service has important limitations.

  • Workmanship warranties apply only to the specific labor performed

  • Parts and equipment are covered by manufacturer warranties, if applicable

  • Diagnostic services and inspections do not include performance guarantees

Workmanship warranties are location-dependent. Moving an RV after service can affect systems due to vibration, leveling changes, and power variations.

Complete warranty terms, limitations, and exclusions are detailed in the Terms of Service.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the RV and reported issues

  • Ensuring access to the RV at the scheduled time

  • Maintaining installed systems as recommended

Declining recommended repairs or maintenance may affect system reliability.

Transparency & Communication

Our service philosophy is preventative-first and education-driven. We explain findings, options, and risks so customers can make informed decisions.

We do not upsell unnecessary work, and we document recommendations and customer decisions.

Final Note

This page is intended to help set expectations and answer common questions. It does not replace or modify the Live Free Mobile RV Terms of Service.
